LocalStash introduces travelers to locally owned places. Information can change, so visitors should confirm hours, availability, pricing, accessibility and other time-sensitive details directly with the business before traveling.

What Stash status means

A Stash is a locally owned business that operates in a launched LocalStash destination and serves people along the way. Stash status is not a star rating, guarantee or endorsement of every future experience.

Thumbs Up

A Thumbs Up is a simple positive signal from a visitor, not a rating, review, purchase verification or guarantee. A visitor may support multiple Stashes, but LocalStash limits repeated and automated clicking and may remove manipulated activity.

Backroad Club

Backroad Club cardholders receive 10% off at participating Stashes when they show a digital or printed card. The cardholder receives the benefit. Each Stash handles group purchases, separate checks and any additional promotions according to its own practices.

Founding participation

All currently published Stashes hold permanent Founding Stash recognition. Each new market begins with a limited Founding Stash allocation. Later approved Stashes pay the current one-time $197 activation fee. LocalStash may change future pricing without changing an already confirmed Founding Stash position.

Submissions

A recommendation, nomination or participation request does not create a listing, promise acceptance or authorize a charge. A person reviews material LocalStash decisions before publication.
