Stashes are locally owned businesses with a clear connection to their Town. Tell us what makes yours worth a stop. We review its fit and location personally before confirming participation.
Your LocalStash page brings your story, location, contact details and useful links together, with connections to your Town and relevant Journeys.
A reason to choose your business
Backroad Club cardholders receive 10% off at participating Stashes. Stash participation includes honoring that benefit. We’ll confirm the details with you before your page goes live.
Clear participation terms
Each new market begins with a limited Founding Stash allocation. Later approved Stashes pay the current one-time $197 activation fee. We’ll confirm availability and the terms that apply to your business before you commit.

Sponsors are businesses, people and organizations LocalStash knows, trusts and chooses with care. Share how you would like to support local discovery and the communities along the way.
A Sponsor page introduces your organization, with recognition on the relevant Town page and useful links for people who want to learn more.
A personally reviewed relationship
We’ll discuss fit, investment, placement and commitments with you directly. Sponsorship terms are agreed before the relationship begins.
Independent local discovery
Sponsorship can support LocalStash, but it does not purchase Stash selection or editorial approval. A business may also have a separate Stash relationship, with each confirmed on its own terms.
Events/Activities
Give people another reason to stop.
Participating Stashes and Sponsors can share timely local happenings on their own Town page, helping travelers plan a visit or a road trip.
Simple, timely submissions
Once your participant details are registered, you can publish one Event/Activity every seven days for your own approved Town. It must start within the next 30 days and run for one to four days.
Your details, confirmed by you
Share a short description, location and an optional link for more details. Use the email address registered to your business. After reviewing the details and rules, confirm by email to publish automatically on your Town page.
A useful calendar that stays fresh
Events/Activities are removed one day after they end. If a submitted activity needs a correction or removal, contact LocalStash and we’ll help. We provide participating businesses with their submission link.

We review businesses personally. If we’ve already invited your business, we’ll match your submission to that record and prepare your welcome. Other applications stay in personal review. There is no automatic listing or charge.
