This month

The October drawing opens October 4, 2026. The subscriber cutoff is October 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. Mountain Time (America/Denver). We select a potential winner within five business days after the cutoff.

No purchase or payment is necessary. Buying anything does not improve your chances.

Subscribe once

Current and new qualifying subscribers are automatically included. There is no monthly entry form. One chance per person in each announced drawing month. Extra email addresses, purchases, referrals, email opens and ad clicks do not earn extra chances. Odds depend on the number of eligible subscribers.

Who can win

You must live in one of the fifty U.S. states, be at least 18 and the age of majority in your state, whichever is greater, and have an active, confirmed subscription to the free LocalStash newsletter at the cutoff and through award confirmation. Void where prohibited. Sponsor owners, staff, drawing administrators and their immediate families and households cannot win.

You can unsubscribe anytime through Beehiiv. This ends eligibility before award confirmation and for future drawings; it does not take away an already confirmed prize. You may also ask to be excluded from drawings while keeping the newsletter by emailing roadtrip@localstash.com.

If you are selected

We select randomly, contact the potential winner directly at their subscribed email address, and verify age, residence and eligibility. Respond within fourteen calendar days of notification. If the person is ineligible, declines or does not respond, we randomly select an alternate from the remaining pool. We never charge a fee to claim.

If no eligible person remains, we will publish that outcome and carry the unawarded $50 prize forward as a separate additional prize in the next drawing we announce. We will preserve this obligation if we pause the program.

Your prize and story

The winner receives one Visa gift card with $50 usable value within thirty calendar days after eligibility verification. LocalStash covers purchase, activation and delivery costs. The card is subject to its issuer's terms and merchant acceptance; cash withdrawal is not promised. We disclose the applicable card terms to the potential winner before acceptance. Applicable taxes are the winner's responsibility.

Verified results are announced in the newsletter. A first-name/town feature, photo, interview or local-business nomination is optional and requires separate permission. Saying no does not affect the prize. You do not need to read the announcement to claim. Email us for verified winner information available under applicable requirements.

Future drawings and your information

We may offer additional monthly drawings. Continuing eligible subscribers remain automatically included without entering again. We may end future drawings, but honor prizes for months already announced. The newsletter can continue after the drawing program ends.

We use your information for newsletter delivery and drawing administration under our privacy notice. Subscriber information is not given to a sponsor or affiliate merely because they fund a prize or advertise.
